The Lake City Trail Angels are committed group of individuals from our local community who share a love for hikers. They have been shuttling hikers to and from the pass for almost a decade.
They provide the daily shuttle: the 12:00pm shuttle from Lake City to Spring Creek Pass and the 12:30pm shuttle from Spring Creek Pass to Lake City. The shuttle picks up from (12:00pm) and returns to (12:30ish) the Trail Hiker Center in downtown Lake City. The shuttle runs daily from July 1st to August 31 and may be extended into September if warranted. The Trail Angels Shuttle does accept donations.
The Trail Hiker Center, which is offered by Community Presbyterian Church supports the Lake City Trail Angels Shuttle by providing extra vehicles and drivers to shuttle hikers back to the pass. Additionally, we offer a 4:00pm shuttle on Sundays in July and August (from the first Sunday after the 4th to the last Sunday in August) to accommodate those trying to make our Sunday Trail Hiker Meals. The Trail Hiker Center does not accept donations.
