For the 2025 season, the Lake City Trail Hiker Center will offer a daily shuttle from July 1st to September 15th. The Trail Hiker Center does NOT accept shuttle donations.
Lake City Trail Hiker Center to Spring Creek Pass
The shuttle departs from the Lake City Trail Hiker Center at 11:00am and drops hikers off at Spring Creek Pass (sometime between 11:30 and 11:45am).
Spring Creek Pass to Lake City Trail Hiker Center
The shuttle picks up hikers at Spring Creek Pass sometimes between 11:30pm and 11:45am and drops them off at the Lake City Trail Hiker Center sometime between 12:00pm and 12:30pm. We suggest you be at Spring Creek Pass by 11:30am.
Sunday Hiker Dinner Shuttle
Additionally, we offer a 4:00pm shuttle on Sundays in July and August (from the first Sunday after the 4th to the last Sunday in August) to accommodate those trying to make our Sunday Trail Hiker Meals.
Special Requests and Hitchhiking
The Lake City Trail Hiker Center does NOT accept requests for special pick ups. Hitchhiking has proven to be an effective way to get in and out of town outside of the daily shuttle hours. Hikers have a better chance of being picked up in smaller groups and during daylight hours. If you’re hitching a ride from Lake City to Spring Creek Pass, stay north of First Street (just north of the bridge); you’ll have more exposure to potential rides.
